A Wonderful Week in Iowa

Last week, we embarked on our week-long “Common Sense Solutions Bus Tour” throughout the great state of Iowa. We traveled more than 1,800 miles in just five days and enjoyed visiting with the warm and friendly people of Iowa.  We also visited the Iowa State Fair, participated in the Fox News presidential debate, and joined in all the festivities at the Ames Straw Poll. This was our 27th trip to the state and we appreciated the opportunity to reconnect with many of our long-time supporters and to meet many new ones. We have just begun our work in Iowa as we lead up to the caucus early next year, and we are confident that our momentum will continue to grow. Check out videos from the tour !

Iowa Straw Poll Results

We are encouraged by our results in the recent Iowa straw poll.  We not only placed well above more established politicians, we did so with no debt.  As a businessman, I know how important it is to keep revenues ahead of expenditures.  Our grassroots efforts proved that we can change the politics-as-usual paradigm.  We have proved I am a viable candidate and we look forward to continuing our efforts to gain the nomination.  Click here to read our press release.

On the Road Again…

Monday, Herman addressed an overflow crowd in Indianapolis.  People were energized by the thought of a real leader and problem solver in the White House.  The response in Indianapolis and on the campaign trail is nothing short of amazing.
